🎊Bonus: Recognizing your personal progress
From coaching many high achievers over the last decade, I see a common tendency at the end of the quarter or end of the year.
High achievers tend to go straight into planning for the next period, without recognizing the growth and progress they made in this current period.
I designed a short reflection below to help you take a quick pause and recognize where you made progress in this last time period.
After this reflection, you can go straight back to setting yourself challenging goals for the next cycle! 😉
*15 minute reflection exercise to recognize your successes*
Peak Moment: Close your eyes and recall the single moment from this period that makes you proudest. Describe it to yourself in vivid detail: sights, sounds, emotions - make it real.
Unexpected Triumph: Was there a challenge you tackled this period that you initially doubted you could conquer? Relive the struggle and describe it to yourself in detail. What did you learn from this unexpected triumph?
Ripple Effect: Think beyond your own achievements. Who did you positively impact this period? Was it a team member you mentored, a client you empowered, or a change you championed? Celebrate the ripple effect of your actions.
Hidden Gem: Look beyond the obvious wins. Was there a small victory, a quiet improvement, a personal growth moment that went unnoticed but holds significance for you?
Future Footprint: Building on all you've accomplished this period, imagine your ideal impact next period. What legacy do you want to leave? What bold, exciting step will you take towards it?
